For those of your who don't know...we haven't spent money on a bed since we've been married besides our $50 Coleman double high air mattress. When that popped on us a couple of weeks into the summer, one of Dax's friends from work graciously offered us his extra queen bed for the summer. Last week at work Dax heard another guy talk about how he and his wife were getting a new bed because his wife didn't like theirs, and Dax asked about it. We decided to test it out to see if we were ok with it, so after cleaning it up some (they have inside dogs) and shopping around at several stores for hours (I am grateful Dax was patient enough to go with me and remain pleasant!) to find some cheap bedding we now have a bed that is ours! The part that Dax loves the most is that it is a California king, so he finally has a bed where his feet don't hang over the edge! All we have left to get is a frame so that our bedding doesn't hang on the floor, and bigger pillows (we really need some new ones anyway). :) Yes, those are tote containers that you see in the picture...we use them as night stands.

yay! I love our king, you can stretch out as much as you want.. its especially good while youre pregnant cuz you can stay as far away from his extra body heat as possible! -Holly
So, I guess you guys will be getting a uhaul and it won't matter that you have a bed to haul around. That's great. I like your chocolate bedding. Fun, fun. Your hair looks great too Jen.
Congrats! We love your Cal King. The ONLY downside...it is more difficult to find bedding for. But I love the extra long length also.
